What you will be responsible for
You will have the opportunity to work in one or both of the following roles, depending on availability and interest:
- Project Registration Analyst (20 hrs/week)
In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Climate Officer to evaluate project registration submissions and perform background diligence using historical remote sensing data.
- Market Analysis Support Assistant (20 hrs/week)
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Growth to research, evaluate and prioritize various market opportunities for the company including: some text- Research and analyze potential project developers and carbon buyers.
- Study national carbon policies for key countries and track international carbon policy developments.
- Assist in creating a roadmap for accrediting our methodology with external entities such as ICROA, ICVCM, and ISO.
What we are looking for
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent research and organizational skills.
- Ability to present complex research in an accessible format.
- Strong understanding of nature-based carbon credits and the current carbon marketplace.
- Eagerness to learn or experience with blockchain technologies.
- Autonomous, humble, proactive, efficient problem-solver and result-oriented.
- And of course, a strong passion for taking care of our planet!
